I really got off on the Southern-Culture-on-the-Skids-meets-Siouxsie-and-the-Banshees vibe this has. The Psychobilly label fits, and there are a number of acts of that genre this puts me in mind of, but this tune struck me, first and foremost, as the bastard child of those two bands...and that’s BIG cool! Or maybe Oingo Boingo going Goth...
The beat would sound almost Vegassy without the distorted chicken pickin’ it accompanies. Big cool.
